Slack Connector

Setup

Connect Slack Workspace

  1. Go to Connectors → Slack
  2. Click Connect
  3. Select Slack workspace
  4. Authorize Solatis app
  5. Choose channel for notifications
  6. Save

Required Permissions

  • chat:write - Send messages
  • files:read - Read file details
  • reactions:write - Add reactions

Send Notifications

Automatic Notifications

Configure which events trigger Slack messages:

  • ✅ Document analysis complete
  • ✅ Agent execution finished
  • ✅ Errors and failures
  • ✅ Quota warnings

Manual Notifications

Send message manually:

  1. Open document/result
  2. Click Share → Slack
  3. Select channel
  4. Add custom message
  5. Send

Message Formatting

Messages include:

  • Document or result title
  • Summary of content
  • Link to view in Solatis
  • Action buttons

Slash Commands

Use Solatis slash commands in Slack:

/solatis analyze [document-url]
/solatis summary [document-id]
/solatis help

Reactions

Add reactions to files for quick categorization:

  • 📋 For documents
  • ✅ When approved
  • ❌ When issues found
  • 🔄 For pending items

Best Practices

  • One channel per project - Organize by purpose
  • Use mentions - @team for important updates
  • Threaded responses - Keep conversations organized
  • Archive old integrations - Clean up unused channels

Can't connect: Verify workspace permissions No notifications: Check channel selection Messages delayed: Check notification settings
